Whisky Sour (2023)

Whisky Sour is an art song for baritone voice and piano with an original text. The song’s narrative centers around a man who gets drunk at a bar and slowly realizes he’s not well equipped to drive himself back home.

It was premiered on May 5th, 2023, by baritone Graham Lin and pianist Jamie Phillips-Freedman for my undergraduate recital at Oberlin Conservatory.
